Quick start with the BE-U1000: from VSCode installation to microcontroller startup

We invite you to a practical webinar at Electronica Connect on September 17 at 11:00 together with colleagues from Baikal Electronics, Radiant-EK and Tellur Electronics.

How do I quickly provision a production environment and run the BE-U1000 microcontroller in a VSCode environment? At the online meeting, we will analyze the entire path - from the installation of tools to the first firmware and configuration of the microcontroller.

BE-U1000 is a triple-core 32-bit microcontroller (200 MHz, 192 KB RAM, 256 KB FLASH, 2 CANFD, USB, QFN88) based on the sanctions-resistant RISC-V architecture and Russian cores from CloudBEAR, with floating-point support on two of them. Allows hardware integration of an Ethernet network controller and connection of external Flash memory up to 32 MB. Functional analogue STM32F405-407.

As part of the webinar, we will consider:

  • installation and configuration of VSCode

  • Setting up and assembling the project

  • BE-U1000 firmware

  • Starting and configuring the microcontroller

Special attention should be paid to the nuances that are important to consider when setting up the environment and working with the microcontroller at the start.

Speakers:

Vladimir Gudin — Microcontroller Developer, Baikal Electronics

Mark Omelchenko — Head of Microelectronics, Radiant-EK

Ivan Filyaev — Brand Manager, Tellur Electronics
