The ExpoElectronica exhibition has been driving the growth of the Russian electronics industry for 25 years. Since 2022, ExpoElectronica has proudly partnered with the School of Digital Circuit Synthesis project, dedicated to fostering and expanding the talent pool within the electronics sector. The Russian electronics industry is in need of superstar microarchitects to lead development teams in electronic companies. The ideal platform for these rising stars to shine is Russia's largest exhibition in the field of micro- and radio electronics—ExpoElectronica.
The School of Digital Circuit Synthesis is a free educational program designed to teach modern digital microcircuit design, even for beginners. Based on an expanded MIT course, the curriculum covers FPGA microcircuits, computer architecture, and processor microarchitecture, offering hands-on experience with debug boards, peripheral equipment, and professional design tools for ASICs. A dedicated section focuses on RISC-V architecture, where students learn processor design and verification using the schoolIRISCV core. The program includes practical training, personalized support, and a final mock interview to prepare participants for careers in the electronics industry.
